TBM S640 , nicknamed Prerna , after waiting for so long , has finally made a breakthrough at Howrah .
The news was first published by The Metro Rail Guy . His article stated that the TBM had to wait for many days ( more than a month) to make the breakthrough , as the recieving shaft wasn't ready . The TBM probably came out on 2nd of February , 2017 .
Fortunately , the TBM is finally out , and as per a Bengali Local Newspaper , it will be again pushed into service by March 2017 to bore tunnels under Hooghly .
