Lucknow Metro conducted a trial run upto Charbagh on 16 February 2017 . The 8.5 km Transport Nagar - Charbagh phase 1 is almost complete now .
LMRC got a maximum speed certificate of 90 kmph from Research Design and Standard Organisation or RDSO . Yesterday , the train made a complete trial run at a speed of about 90 km/h .
Though the Government is trying to start commercial service by end of March on this 8.5 km stretch , I personally don't think Metro will be able to do that due to unavailability of Rakes .
